Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with program stakeholders, and Construction leadership to prepare and present progress on departmental technology programs, knowledge acquisition, knowledge transfer, process review and best practices for technology.

  • Exp Experience working with Enterprise Reporting and Analysis tools, Tableau, SQL, Power BI, and visual analytic applications. Drive efficiencies and implement strategic initiatives.

  • Develop business requirements to develop and to electronically capture field activities and field data in digital formats for review and processing in the Construction Work Exchange repository. Leverage data analytics to drive continuous improvement for the business.

  • Benchmark and communicate best practices for capturing company field activities and conditions with the use of technology.

  • Understanding of database normalization, differences between types of objects (tables, views, stored procedures, linked servers, SQL jobs), must own complex data projects and act as SME on report writing and visualization.

  • Identify opportunities to assess overall project schedule progress and where necessary, redirect efforts to ensure an "on schedule"/ "on budget" environment. Prepare IT related reports and presentations and effectively communicate to Senior Management.

  • Research and test available technologies to automate the capture of work components into the new CworX system.

  • Communicate between initiatives to ensure the proper synergies are being utilized throughout the project.

  • Research, review, and introduce technology to improve our field data capturing via new processes and technologies. programs which may include collaborations with R&D.

  • Analyze daily incidents related to apps that we support and work out corrective actions to improve level of service, including providing automation for manual repetitive tasks or automated workarounds; if not supported, log IT request or advise user

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of relevant work experience Utility, Construction Management, Project Management, Operations, Engineering, or other IT related experience or

  • Associate's Degree and 5 years of relevant work experience Utility, Construction Management, Project Management, Operations, Engineering, or other IT related experience or

  • High School Diploma/GED and 7 years of relevant work experience Utility, Construction Management, Project Management, Operations, Engineering, or other IT related experience or

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Engineering, Information Technology and 4 years of relevant work experience Utility, Construction Management, Project Management, Operations, Engineering, or other IT related experience

Relevant Work Experience

  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with contractors, all levels of management, engineers, public officials, governmental and municipal agencies, and community board representatives. Required

  • Requires strong, presentation sills, analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities. Required

  • Proficiency with creating meaningful data visualization Required

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and provide emergency response when required. Required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and Oracle, including PowerBi Required

  • Proficiency with business intelligence techniques analytic tools for the acquisition and transformation of raw data into meaningful and useful information for business and analysis purposes. Required

  • Experience with work Management systems. (Maximo, CGI) Preferred
